In this video I show how you can make a quick and easy hologram effect using DaVinci Resolve and its Color page. The effect can be done with as little as 1 node, Edge Detect, but it depends what you want, Isuggest you use glow nodes to add some flare like Horizontal and Vertical effects, and Scan Lines.
In the tutorial I used Sharpen Edges to pop the edges out a little bit more and I didn’t use the Scan Lines, because it slipped my mind. And I liked the effect at that point anyway.
If you want to spice up the hologram effect by adding some particles you can make your own, or alternatively you can install Particle Illusion and pick the already made particles and even combine them to make unique combination, just like I did.
