This is a quick tip video on how to export video clips with transparency and also without any audio, if you so choose, by using DaVinci Resolve.
There are a couple of options how you can export transparent videos, but all of them include the QuickTime format, export Alpha checkbox enabled and most likely you’ll also need to enable the Individual clip export as you can see from my examples.
What are the other options that you can use? Well most of them have to do with the Coded Type that you then select and the resolution that you want to use. Just test things out or use the one that works for you. One difference that I also show between the different options and codecs is the file size that you end up with, in some case 3x smaller.
