Animated filled in outlined text DaVinci Resolve

This video is about filling in an outlined text or shape with a solid color, gradient or you could even fill it in with an image or another video clip. The mask that is used for the fill is animated with a simple rectangle, ellipse or a custom polygon – in that case I suggest you use a bspline if you want to have smooth curved lines.

Don’t forget to add some softness and motion blur to the mask so that the animation looks even better!
